Volunteer seedling confusion

A few squash volunteers have emerged in my compost pit (I have a pit, not a pile, long story), but I can't tell what they are for sure. Most likely are acorn and butternut, whose seeds were contributed via kitchen waste. Seeds from zucchini or yellow summer squashes rarely make it into kitchen scraps, so I can pretty much count them out.

Although I have grown both acorn and butternut in the past, I can't quite recall exactly what they look like. Do they both look the same at the cotyledon stage?
