At first I thought it was just an insect, but then I opened one up and saw the little worm in action, destroying the pepper from the inside. He creates a hole and then it starts to rot from the inside, create a spider-web-like substance, etc., and ruin the pepper. They only like the maruga scorpions which is so odd. Anyone else ever had this problem? Curious how you fought these guys.... (you can see the worm in the first picture, below the seeds)
