Do these curtains match?

Clockwise: marvel duvet cover, ironman sham, quilted sham (navy, red, turquoise and green), and marvel fleece to make a throw blanket. In the center is ikea WERNA black out curtains. I don't know if the curtains really match, but they are the right size and the right price. What do you think?

I think I would look for a brighter green (or blue or orange) especially if you go with gray on the walls..... I think they would look fine if there is a brighter color on the walls...

I think they work alright. I don't think colors need to match exactly though I can sometimes get caught up in that. Looking at the choices, my first thought was to use darker blue curtains, but since you say the green are a good size and price I'd probably stay with the green since it's a kid's room vs. say a living room.

I agree with busybee. I think the curtains look fine with the other fabrics but I'd be concerned about them being very dark and getting lost against a dark wall color.

I think I'm going to paint the window wall f&b manor house gray. Downpipe just on the headboard wall. Manor house grey is pretty close to the grey edging on the quilted sham, which I didn't really photograph well.

The colors in the duvet are very bright. The green is a pretty true green and most everything I've found is more yellow or more teal. I thought this was maybe a true green with black. But it's maybe still on the teal side.

The other choices would be to source some fabric and have my mom sew some. I don't know if I can find that bright of a fabric either. Or pbk has white or navy. I'm afraid of white since the trim is cream and I haven't decided if I'll paint it yet. And navy seems awfully dark.

With the gray walls, I think the green would be very nice! It's calming and "Hulk-ish" at the same time :)

I think it coordinates fine....doesn't have to be an exact match. The size and price are right and it's a kid's room.....in a few years he'll outgrow the comic book theme and you'll probably change to something else.

I think the room will be quite dark with the gray walls and dark green curtains.

I think it will look great. Partly because the green and manor house grey will look good together I think, and partly because it's easy and done. I should look at Ikea for some drapes, neber even though of it for my ds's room.

Orange would also look nice with the grey I think.

    Your room is coming along!

I think it will be tough to match the red/orange color too..It's quite neon IRL. And I don't know if I truly want neon orange curtains :)

Leaning towards just keeping them even though my sense is that they are not completely right. If I decide to change them down the road, I'm only out $60. And this gives me some more room in my budget for a nicer rod, etc.

    Yup, works well together.
