Repot or leave alone?
A couple of weeks ago, at the beginning of May, I stopped at the arboretum while they were having their plant sale. I bought (among other things) a small pot of Mt. Lemmon marigold which was only about 5 inches tall. I repotted it in a huge pot with some blanketflower and a low growing succulent, figuring the blooming flowers would steal the show while the Mt. Lemmon slowly grew to into itself (they tend to top out at a 2'x6' shrub that blooms in the fall and winter here). Well, everything in that planter loved it's new home and grew by leaps and bounds, possibly because of the unusually cool May we have had here (it hasn't even hit 100 degrees) The marigold, which was shorter than the blanketflower by a couple of inches, has now shot up to tower over it by at least 4-5inches. So, I am wondering, should I move the blanketflower to let the marigold have some more space, or just wait and see what happens? Any suggestions?
