We found the old spec for this bathroom and found that the backsplash is actually Golden Gate Split Stone, not Scabos. Scabos does have a similar product, though. Check them both out!

This bathroom is realy a good one! I have a question for you...Here in my country it is hard to find that kind of stone that is used as the backsplash...Do you think using digital tile that I attached the image, makes a similar looking? Thank you...

Yes, I think the product you have found is similar. The big difference I see is that the pieces in your product vary less in size and relief. The backsplash material we used is much less even so you get a more textured look, but you will get some of that with the material you identified. Good luck!

Did you use grout or just stack in this picture?

No grout needed. Just use the sheets of the stacked stone. Good luck!

Stacked stone can range between $15/sq ft - $20/sq ft depending on size and type of stone. Most of it falls between the $15 - $18 range. This material comes in 12" x 12" sheets while larger pieces of stone come individually and you set each one.

I'm trying to research "Golden Gate Split Stone" and can't find anything? Who manufactures this stone? Thanks!

I checked w/ one of our local stone providers and they still carry this product. Golden Gate is the name of the stone and then it is fabricated into different applications including stack. Here is a link to the website of our supplier showing the product - hope this helps.

Thanks! I found it...however it looks way different than the picture? Any chance that this stone is sealed? My husband does tile, veneer, etc. for a living and says it sometimes brings the colors out?

Our supplier said the stone is quarried and varies like any other natural solid surface. The difference in tone may be the result of a different colored vein that was being tapped as the stone was being extracted.

Please be aware that the color of the Golden Gate stone is changing. I loved the gold and copper colors so I chose this for my hearth. Unfortunately, when I picked it up, it was more greens and grays. The Arizona Tile rep that helped me said it has been coming in that way for some time. Great customer service though, they let me pick through the tiles and find ones with the gold/copper colors I wanted. It was still tough to find enough...

We have used similar stacked stone In our sunroom.... We picked it up at Lowes big box store.... And we sealed ours to bring out the colors more.

Many ppl have ask for wall color and there has not been an answer~ is it possible to get that? Thank you...

What is the average cost of faux stacked stone look for similar bathroom approximate?

We recently remodeled our bathroom and used stacked stone for the accent wall. We bought it at Home Depot for $43.00 for a box of six 6”x 24” panels. The manufacturer is MS International, Inc. It comes in a variety of shades, but the color we used is called Golden Honey, which has beautiful muted shades of gray, brown, green, blue, white, beige, and pink.
