Not sure what you mean by 'root it fully'. How big is the cutting? Is it new or old wood?

i would put it in a pot with damp media.. and put it in full shade.. and plant in fall ...

lets bulk up that root mass.. before we go free range ...

usually i totally forget about such for most of the summer.. and most root out regardless ...

Good idea, Ken. It is new wood. Only about 6" long.

Just so you know, this plant is still under patent protection, PP # 15575 (USA), #2633 (Canada).

Just in case anyone is interested, Federal plant patent laws apply to us, too.

I'm not the 'plant police', but I think that everybody should know what's legal or not. :-)
