We are adding a patio room on our deck from one of the major window manufacturers on the back of our new Arts and Crafts house. The deck is too windy and not useable most of the time. The quality of their work is great but the look will be all windows and coated aluminum and a sloped "studio" roof coming out from the back of the house. At the back of the house we start with a 10 ft. height and slope to an 8 ft. height. This project is much less expensive than a "morning room" addition and will provide a 10 x 14 ft. atrium that will be more useable for relaxing out back. Any ideas to make it look more charming?
