I am in zone 7 high desert New Mexico & my Asclepsia Tuberosa plant comes up every year & I now have seedlings growing from it that I transplant other places. Seems to do well here but so far haven't seen that many of the Monarchs come to it ....?.

you need more than one for the butterflies to find them , and there real hard to transplant after they grow bigger than seedlings , there are also many other milkweeds that may be native to your areas that will be easier to grow
