Orchids question

I have three phalanopsis orchids and I have fallen in love with them because they are so easy to care for. I've considered lady slipper orchids but I'm not s urge how easy they are to care for. Are there any other orchid types that are easy to care for? Some of the rarer ones I have looked at on eBay are nice but I would be worried about bud blast from the stress of being transported.

Depends on the orchid growing conditions you can provide. Where are you in the USA?

I am in Red a Deer, Alberta, Canada, not sure which zone that is.

Why not build on your Phalaenopsis collection for now? Plenty of different colours in the hybrids and some nice Species Phalaenopsis to try.

If you wish to try something other than a Phalaenopsis go to the orchid culture notes provided by the Canadian orchid congress on line.
