Well, I'd have to come up with a boat to pull it. I don't think my little scamp and trolling motor is going to cut the mustard.

so far another 1.60" in the last 24hrs here.I will say one good thing about it. My musa basjoo, canna and elephant ears are growing like mad with all the water. My musa are about 8' already and they died all the way to the ground. I expect to see 12-15' this year out of them. The common red and yellow canna could make 6-7' in leaf height.

edit-up to 1.85" now. my pool will be overflowing soon at this rate. it was already close.

The little rain shower we had today wasn't too bad, but it meant we've had 3.4" in the last 36 hours. I am so sick of rain. In my mind I am starting to silently chant "drought, drought, drought". I don't really mean it, but isn't it scary that stomping around on saturated soil for a few months now has me feeling nostalgic for the good old days when all I had to worry about was that a wildfire was going to sweep through the area and burn down (burn up?) my garden. We never, ever get exactly the weather we want here, so I feel like it always is either much too wet or much too dry and never just right.
