I can't exactly tell what's going on there. If it's a bloom on the side you are referring to, it's not like any my Sans have ever produced. Maybe a long stemmed aberration with a leaf on the end. It's hard to see from the picture. If you don't get a reply here, post it on the Cactus and Succulent site...........Maryl

I don't know. I got it as a present so I only know it's a sasevieria. Didn't know untilI stumbled onto this forum that there was so many types :o)

Yes, it is a long list and confusing at times too. Look up S. parva, as it looks very similar to your pictured plant. Care should be the same as for most all Sansevierias.
