Thanks! I am very grateful and lucky to live in the environment I do. I basically only have to water them, since it's pretty cool and gets very foggy almost every night. I find that a lot of masd care more about humidity than heat and if it's hot they just need more water. But I'm not sure. There are some warm tolerant varieties too such as ayabanaca or something. Everyone has a different environment. I wish I could grow warm growing dens here! But anyways, they are really just such spectacular plants.

Very Nice! Be happy with your conditions. One of the very few Masdevallia seen around these parts is Peach Fuzz.

It's all about location. When you go to Hawk Hills in Pacifica, it
is such a natural for these cloud forrest plants that they use 'Round Up' for the Dendrobium cuthbersonii growing o the walls of their greenhouse. I'm exaggerating but not by much.

S F area spoke about Den. cuthbertsonii and similar wonderful orchids that grow like weeds there. Sigh!

Wow, Growing really is all about where you live. I have always been so scared of trying out a den cuthbertsonii. The high prices for tiny plants intimidates me! Lol. I will definitely give it a try though! You guys are really making me want one ;) haha

I didn't mind turning my head sideways to see these. They are growing so well! Masd. Sunset Jagaur 'Nightbreed' is a arresting with that color and awesome pattern. I have only one surviving no name masdevallia here in S. Cali. Too dry. in summer. I'm envious.

Thanks! I'm sure south Ca has many orchids that i can't grow up here! It's pretty dry here too, can't imagine how dry it must be down south!
