I've got some lupines that show a wide range of health in various containers on my deck. Most were planted from seeds that I harvested from a single plant last year, and that plant is still alive as well.

First, here's one that I planted from seed this year; it seems healthy and is actually bigger than its parent plant from last year.

Next here is a different plant in a different container shown over a period of a couple of weeks going from wilted to
dead. I think it's simply a matter of having over-watered it :(
1) Some wilting of lower leaves.

2) Death seems inevitable at this point...
3) Time to remove it... :(


Last, here's the parent plant (or perhaps simply seeds from the parent that dropped and sprouted?). It struggled last year and continues to struggle this year. Is this damage mostly due to the caterpillars and leaf hoppers I'm constantly battling? I sure hope it's not a sign of fusarium wilt or verticillium wilt.
