I'm starting a project to remodel my whole house. I've been looking at a lot of different tiles. I'm leaning toward the wood-look tiles and/or modern 12x24 tiles. I've attached a few photos of tiles/patterns that I like. I'm thinking to put beige 12x24 tiles in herringbone pattern in living/family room, and darker 12x24 tiles in kitchen (which is in between family and living room) in straight line pattern. I don't know what to do with the bedrooms/bathrooms. I can either use the same tile throughout the rest of the house, or go with a wood-look tile in the bedrooms maybe. Here are my questions:

1- Should I put the same tile in the kitchen as the living/family room, or mix it up with a different color/pattern. If different tile, which color goes best with the light beige (bottom right in the picture). The light gray in bottom left or dark brown in top left.

2- Is it ok to put wood-look tile in the bedrooms? or just keep it consistent with the same tile throughout the house. If I put the wood-look tile, it would be a transition from the light beige tile to the wood-look tile.
