Mike, This sink is ideally for under mount although I have had several clients that have successfully top mounted this style. Sound deadening pads are included on all our sinks with the exception of the exposed vessel bowls. Mounting hardware is not necessary as most installers have that as part of their service. Also most contractors choose to create a frame for the sink within the cabinet base. Drains holes for the kitchen sinks are a standard 3.5" and are off-set toward the back of the wells.
