Hello! We purchased this home a year ago and have done extensive remodeling inside and are now ready to tackle the outside. We did do a new roof and the siding is permanent steel so my husband says no changing the color of the siding. It is an off ivory/beige. I recently stained the shutters with a hickory gel stain and love the color (we put them up this morning and it shows how faded the trim is). Looking to paint the brick either a dark brown or a deep brick red (one of the colors in the shingles?). I want to do something bold but classy (I love red but I'm nervous). The front door is new (it is a hickory door and matches the shutter stain) and I plan to stain the garage door to match the shutters/front door.

I've considered staining the brick to keep the "brick" look but we are looking at doing a more extensive remodel in the future featuring stacked rock or something so I think for now I would just like to paint it.

Areas of help needed: Trim color: does the trim/soffit color need to match whatever color I choose to paint the brick? Is it ok to have the brick a deep brick red and then paint the window trim and gutters a dark espresso brown that kind of ties it all together?

There are three masonry chimneys. Do we paint them espresso brown to blend in with the roof or do we paint them whatever color we paint the brick?

Is it better to just go traditional and paint the brick and trim espresso brown and leave the red out of the equation? I feel like a deep red or a bold color fits our family. We live in an older but classy neighborhood (no HOA issues). Please feel free to suggest other colors that might look good :)

Also feel free to comment on landscaping/walkway thoughts. In the future I would love to revamp these areas.
