Death Of A Large Windmill

We had 6 degee temps 2 years ago, my 10 ft. windmill never recovered, I cut it down to about 2 feet and am praying. Never use a chainsaw to cut a windmill, the fibrous hair clogged the chain and belt! Must be cut with a bow saw and it's very hard work with a 10" diameter tree.
