They grow exclusively in bog areas but not so much in marsh areas . have seen them growing wild in NE florida but won't grow for me in s. florida due to the lack of chill hours Would think 7 would be an almost ideal location for many pitchers??? gary

This lily was repotted in feb and this only one plant lol Also the lotus has just broken the surface in the far corner gets two foot leaves 6 feet out of the water Don't see much room for floating anything?? Was thinking dish garden around the edge . where i keep some marsh plants/ Bonsai By mid summer the area will be completely shaded,another problem ?? Thanks gary

My pond has a shallow shelf and I was thinking of putting a tray with some medium and pitcher plants in it. Would that be too much water for them though? I am leaning toward the leucophyllia...

The crown should generally be above waterline. It's ok if they flood when the water gets high but they are not pond plants. If you can mound your soil then it might be ok.
