Right now there's too little information to answer your question. Where are you generally? Also, can you be any more specific about the sun? Is it 3 hours or 5 hours? When it is no longer in shade is it bright shade (for instance near a white wall with no overhanging plants or other buildings nearby) or is it in deep shade due to nearby buildings in more than one direction or overhanging trees or a combination. Or a photo from far enough back so that the distance to nearest buildings and taller plants can be judged along with an indication of north?
