My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
My Musa Basjoo was growing great for about 3 weeks then a hail storm shredded the leaves. The plant has stopped growing completely but still has a green stem and is about 3 feet tall.
Also a pup started growing so I know the corm is still alive.
My question is: should I cut anything off of the bigger one that seems to be dying
I wouldn't cut it down. Maybe the pseudostem starts sending out more leaves, maybe not. But I haven't noticed any harm to the plants if it's left on. If it is a goner, eventually it'll fall over and at that point you can chop it down.
