Now we wait :), I ordered some foxtail, windmill, queen and pindo seeds from seedman.com. Obviously I cant speak as to the germination % yet but I can say the seeds came in 2 days after i ordered, past the float test and overall looked healthy. All were bagged nice with simple instructions and even came with plastic tags for pots.

No one around me is carrying palms anymore short of majesty, pony tail and sago. Home depot and lowes used to get the blue pot ones but they have all shifted to selling just hibiscus as there tropical plants. I did find one nursery that has a few trachy but they wanted &80 for a 5 gallon plant.

Good luck… no idea what you're gonna do if the foxtails germinate… have no chance to grow in your climate and don't do all that great as house palm. Sell them on EBay?

so no chance for foxtails to grow, like none at all. Why do you say that? My growing season is from Late march to late october and only have a few months to worry about.

I was planning on keeping them in big containers as long as I can handle them and Didnt plan on putting them in the ground. Overwinter in my greenhouse or the barn.
