Thanks! And Jedoba, I will surely keep you in mind. I do plan on doing some major pruning when they are finished blooming. I was hoping for at least one seedpod with all the blooms I've been having but no luck. Typical for me. LOL

Gorgeous!!! Wish I had seeds from some of those! I learned how to make mine seed this year. But they seeded themselves pretty good last year. Now I have more babies than I can count and by the looks of things, I will have more coming.

Lisa, I can't get mine to seed at all. Only had one seed pod last year and it only produced 5 seeds. Only one germinated.
Tracy, I've had oldie about 10 years. I think it was at least 2 years old when I got it.

Found it! It's called "Hand pollinating and hybridizing adenium (desert rose)"

She cuts and uses the toothpick. I just poked both the flower on the plant and the other one I was using to pollinate with. And I cut out a little hole on my flower and took the center out of the other one, stuck them together, used a little piece of tape to hold it together and there you have it. Worked the first, second, and third time I tried it! And I just did it to another one this morning. Good luck!!!

Thanks for the info. I tried hand pollination last year with no luck. I'll try again this next bloom cycle though.
As for people wanting me to give them adeniums (certain members of my family) I keep putting off because I know they'll kill them right off the bat. I'm thinking of making them buy some from me rather than giving it to them so I don't feel so bad that I wasted time growing any that they may kill. Recoup some costs so to speak. LOL

Ha!Ha!Ha!Ha!Ha! I know how you feel!!! When my brother moved I set him up with some really nice flowers I had. I told him just to water them and I would visit and fertilize every so often. A month later it looked like 1313 Mockingbird lane!!! That's when I told him if he wanted to see flowers he could visit me!
