Dendrobium hercoglossum is a member of the Breviflores group. It is found in southeast Asia from Myanmar to the Philippines. I have liked hercoglossum for a while. However, they can get large and they ramble. This is not what you want in your windowsill or under lights. Andy's Orchids was at a show over the winter and had this one available. Supposedly, it is a small growing variety that won't get much bigger than it is now. This is exactly what I wanted!
