I moved into my house over 3 years ago and unfortunately the only placement for a TV was over a fireplace. I bought a traditional TV mount and it works fine if you're in the kitchen or even for short period times of watching TV. You can easily move the mount down and swivel it towards whichever side you're sitting on. It's now perfectly eye level and no more neck cramps! The mount was easy to install and the website even provides a video which was helpful.

Now the only problem was the crown molding put the TV off center with the new mount placement. I had to remove it, patch it up, then repaint the whole wall. Now the TV and wall look great. I couldn't be happier!
