How do you tell if they are red scorpions or if they are bark scorpions? I've found a few brownish scorpions around my house, but I'm not sure what type they are.

If you are thinking of the Indian red scorpion, they are only in India, Pakistan, and Nepal. I had a red-colored scorpion one time in my house, but it was a baby, either a bark or a striped tail one, most likely. The only potentially fatal scorpion we have here is the bark scorpion, and even those aren't likely to be dangerous to a healthy adult.
