We are doing a pool area remodel . We have put in pavers for the deck, retiled the pool, and adding a pergola. We really wanted a European (cobblestone )'feel. Our contractor wound up convincing us to use materials and I hate them..not what I wanted at all . The material doesn't even blend with our house and the poo tile does not blend with the pavers. We are also getting a pergola with cast stone columns due to our desire for a European courtyard feel . Would still like would like to obtain the European courtyard feel. Any suggestions on materials (ie. Plant potting, cushions, etc) or ways to make all these different surfaces blend and look harmonious together?
