It could be, but I would suspect it might be lavatera. Did you plant it?

In a manner of speaking-it had to have been in a packet of wildflower seeds that I scattered in my flower bed. I have never seen one like this before-I actually thought it was a weed, and I let it stay because the leaf shape was so interesting.
