It's a wide plank oak board 7.5" wide x 6.5' feet long called "euro oak latte". The finish is tumbled with a natural oil coat. The tumbling creates a distressed look to the wood with dents and nicks, perfect for a high traffic kitchen floor. Good luck.

WD Flooring, I would like some more info on your photo...did you use character grade white oak with a clear Oil?

My supplier (www.moncer.com) describes it as "knotty" .... manufacturers may have different nomenclature for their products, there is no industry standard. The wood is stained with a clear oil finish.

Beauparlant, thanks for addressing the nomenclature factor. I talk to so many people that are looking for products that almost sound "made up". :-) That floor is beautiful. We have a client in Athens GA that used the Rubio on our Quarter Sawn White Oak and it looks amazing!

The product is a European White Oak from Belgium. It is aged using a proprietary all natural process and prefinished with Woca natural oils from Denmark. The product is available in over 20 unique colours, in both solid and engineered formats.
