This all wool vegetable dyed Oriental rug is a Suzani design from central Asia. It is made in Northern Afghanistan by Turkman weavers. It was surprisingly well priced for such a beauty. I design the color scheme for most rooms from the ground up. This rug made a gorgeous color anchor for this room.

Spectacular. Can you tell me what I'd be looking to pay for such a beauty? And, what size is this rug?

This rug is 9'x12" and was sold with a 8x10', "Sister" rug for the adjoining D. R. Both rugs share the same blue background, persimmon and green designs. Expect to pay between 8-16K for a 9x12' rug. Harmonious color combinations are more in demand.

These hand made rugs are not always "tabled", so they may not be exact sizes. Not to worry, it is part of the charm of these hand- knotted works of art.
