Any suggestions? I'd like to know what you decided or are thinking about because our kitchens sound very similar. I will have natural red oak flooring, stainless appliances, pearl white dynasty cabinets (cambria newport counters) on the perimeter, and dynasty pumice-colored cabinets with cambria berwyn on the island. Now, I need to pick out a backsplash. Originally, I was thinking of white subway tile, but now that I've selected berwyn and pumice for the island, I wonder if I should use something that pulls in some of these colors onto the wall, so the perimeter isn't so stark and white.

taupe color. I think it will provide nice contrast and compliment the counters well! I ended up searching for a taupey color based on ideas I saw on Pinterest for white kitchens with lighter countertops. I think the pop of color looks good

We are still in the planning stages so I won't have any pics until later this summer when it's all installed! And I do love those gorgeous white tiles! We will be doing lots of white in the master bath and are doing a mix of white subway tile in a traditional horizontal layout and a herringbone layout- SO excited for that!

We are using a local Cabinet company who is helping us save $$ by just replacing all our kitchen doors to shaker style ( and new hidden hardware) and painting out the base cabinets.

We are looking for flooring in vinyl or vinyl ceramic, paint choice for cabinets in an off white, and wall colour to match the Berwyn countertop. Haven't even thought of backsplash yet by live the lantern/Moroccan look.

But, I Need specific paint colour options in a white or grey white ( no green under stone) to match our white appliances.

Behr or Benjamin Moore options for cabinets, ceiling and walls? Grey flooring options?

Love the white on white, but need some personality in there!

Cambria and Benjamin Moore partnered together to create a paint match tool for their countertops. It helps pick paint and the backsplash. What's great is it basically breaks the countertop down into its base colors!

Kitandkaboodle - I am considering the Pumice cabinets but worry that they might be dark. I like off white kitchens, but find myself drawn to these taupey grey colours too. How did Pumice turn out? Would you recommend it in a larger sized kitchen as the only cabinet finish (I only want one style)?

I love my Dynasty Pumice island with Cambria Berwyn countertop. It's beautiful and warms up my small kitchen (as mentioned the rest of my cabinets are Dynasty Pearl). I have a small kitchen (11x14) and originally planned an all white kitchen until I saw the pumice and berwyn combination on display and fell in love with it. After changing my cabinet order, I too worried that it might be too dark. But once installed I knew for certain I had made the right decision. It warms up an otherwise all white kitchen. I'm so glad I went with my heart.

I think its a versatile, neutral color and can be made darker or lighter depending on whether you choose light or dark complements (countertop, paint, lighting, flooring, hardware).

See if you can find a dealer with it on display and let your heart decide. I saw it at Bray and Scarff in Bethesda, MD.

Do you have a photo of your island and kitchen for us to see? I live in Canada and we do not have many options for seeing Omega cabinets on display.

This is Whisper White Beveled Arabesque tile with Berwyn. A fun white on white look with the cabinets that doesn't upstage the beautiful countertops.

Would love to hear an update on this thread. We are planning white cabinets (Fabuwood Nexus Frost) on the perimeter with a gray island. Originally, we had planned some white quartz on the perimeter, with white subway tiles and a granite with white and gray for the island. Now I realize that matching up all those whites on the perimeter will be impossible. Any suggestions?

I used cambria newport on white cabinets and love it. I too was concerned about using white on white, but that was needless. Newport is white with a very subtle flow of gray. I picked it because the cambria website suggested using it with berwyn (that's the countertop I used on my pumice-colored pennisula island) and its a perfectly beautiful match and I couldn't be happier. My backsplash is a taupy-gray tile to pull out the colors from the berwyn countertop and it also ties in well with my stainless appliances. There are pictures in another discussion (something like, "has anyone used cambria berwyn I can only find one picture"), but they don't do it justice -- its much prettier in person.

I will have Berwyn counter, glass subway backsplash & white perimeter cabinets, dark gray island cabinet (also w Berwyn). I chose BM Gray Owl for the walls after trying a gazillion samples. Not too dark, not too light. You could go taupe as well but I wanted to pull out the gray. The Cambria website Paint Match suggests BM Revere Pewter, which I have used before and really like.

amvanatta can you provide me with the sizes of the arabesque you used, and a photo of underneath the bar? We're doing the Berwyn, and tile guy recommended a subway tile, but I love the arabesque. i just worry that using the smaller arabesque underneath our raised bar might look too busy. Love your kitchen, and I;m trying to sway my husband. Also, where did you buy the arabesque tiles? Thanks! Stephanie

to karencwesterfeld: I wish I could show you pictures of the completed project. We are doing a major renovation of our entire house and the kitchen isn't slated to go in until September. But we are definitely going with the Fabuwood.

We have cream cabinets with Cambria Berwyn countertops. Going to go with Biscuit subway tile for the backsplash which matches our cabinets perfectly & blends well with the countertops.
