Does anyone else have problems with their curtain rings getting caught on the seam of an adjustable curtain rod? My fairly heavy drapes have round rings that slide one the rod - at least until they get to the part where one pipe slides into the other, then they sometimes get caught. In my enthusiasm to get the curtain shut I pull some of the hooks off and end up having to get a ladder to re=attach everything. I have thought about tape to make the joint smoother.... has anyone else had and solved this problem? Thanks.
