Kitchen Windows

I love looking at pictures of kitchens. I plan on building my retirement home soon. I see where the vast majority of the beautiful kitchens you display have windows over the kitchen sink, which is what I am looking for. Yet I'd be willing to bet that out of every 200 house plans I look at, only 1 has a window! House plans today all show kitchens in the center of the house with the kitchen overlooking the family room. What I would give to find some plans with windows in the kitchen! Any suggestions?

I think of looking at house plans as educational..how to get ideas..but to get the home you need for retirement is very personal and you will probably need to make changes or have the plans made to suit your needs and to suit the property you build on..windows are the most important element as they bring in natural light and effect your mood every moment you are in your home.. The other two elements that really matter to me are the laundry room and a pantry ...There is never too much space in these rooms to make your life easier and more comfortable

Wish I had made it twice as big everything is open to the eye and no clutter necessary in the kitchen which is right there next to it...
