DINING ROOM MADNESS

I am so stuck with what to do with this dining room...
Very large room table pulls out to fit 12 seats we leave it up to fit 8.
I will attach the rug I just purchased that I would like to use its black and cream. Curtains are cream but can be changed.
Also thinking wainscoting with a beige wallpaper

My idea is warm comfy but with a rustic twist still classic country

I need help!
