This tree has been in same pot for 17 years. The only thing that has been done is an occasional top dressing of potting soil and once a month watering with 15 to 20 gallons of "used" aquarium water. I have turned the pot in the hopes that it will start growing toward the sunlight. Should I cut off the short trunk and do a good prune and wait till spring to attempt to do a severe root prune?
