I had given up on growing full sized tomatoes, terrible luck with the plants. But the local tomato guru had me try Amelia this year and I am having excellent results. He said it was determinate, and when I got 3 large tomatoes, I figured that was all I would harvest from the two plants. However, We had a coolish spell and about a dozen blossoms set fruit - today I need to go out and do some staking, the stems are beginning to sag underneath the weight of all the tomatoes! No sign of disease at all! Pretty good taste to the tomato, it's no Cherokee Purple but perfectly acceptable as a slicing tomato.
