Mystery Clem Bloomed

When we moved into this apartment Spring 2013, I went about sprucing up the overgrown weedy backyard. The neighbors had a clematis (The President I think) growing on the shared fence and I liked it so in Spring 2014 I went and got two clematis to grow in pots. They both bloomed a few blooms last year. Also last year in spring, I noticed what looked like a vine growing from the dirt by the neighboring house I placed an old wire tomato cage over it thinking it might be a clematis also. It grew about 4 or 5 feet, but the leaves stayed small and no buds ever appeared although I kept it watered.

My purchased clems did not do well over the winter and eventually both appeared dead. But the mystery clem in the ground came back with a vengeance and at last count had 19 buds and had grown about 9ft in total. Not sure of the name but I like the deep purple of the mature blooms. Had a good amount of morning sun until the trees leafed out and it's in almost full shade now, but the buds had already formed by the time the shade filled in.
