I plant Fall Peas in late July / early August. Your dates will be close to that; the U KY vegetable planting guide gives a date of August 1st for Fall peas.

I grow them here in early Sept. but I have to per-sprout the seed, they won't sprout in hot soil. I usually get a better crop in the fall because it heats up so quick in the spring here.

I'm going to plant them around early August and see what comes of it. Maybe it will cool down enough throughout the month.

wertack - do you pre-sprout them in water or in soil. I waited until it cooled off last year and then planted them outside. Lousy germination. It got too cold here too quick last year and I didn't get any fall peas.

I sprout them in water, it only takes about 3 days.
