Custom Made Dining Table

I'm looking to design my own dining table that is cararra marble. I'm not sure what type of base I should have or how to get the table made for a reasonable price. Any advice on where to start? I know how to get the table top but stuck on the base and how to assemble it.

This question needs a lot more info , what shape is the table , what size how thick is the marble all things that will decide the base also your style.
