But the fig itself doesn't look very healthy, I would say your plant needs water but the leaves don't seem wilted although they have those yellow spots :s

OK, so it's a dark fig. Shape is not Black Mission. Could be any long necked variety, but it's small when you compare to a quarter. Maybe VDB. I don't know Negronne.

I have found leaves to be unreliable. I have several fig trees, and on each tree there are many different shaped leaves.

The fig open and shut is the true deal. You have a dark fig here. The less healthy the leaves, the more robust the figs. If a tree thinks it is dying, it will put out it's best fruit. I think your leaves look fine, but they have a light case of FMV. This is a breba, and we all know main crop is better.

I wonder if it could be an LSU Purple? The shape of the fruit looks roughly similar.
