Truly a community, a kind person sent me seed of a white Dolichos labab (Hyacinth Bean),
that I mentioned liking and wanting, on this forum. Probably at the cost
of postage. Now the vines will hide the back of my potting bench from
folks sitting on the pool deck. Other vines in the plastic window boxes
include Morning Glory 'Heavenly Blue', Moonflower, Cypress Vine and
Scarlet Runner Bean, but the white Hyacinth Bean has my greatest
curiosity. Certainly will not plant any regularly colored Hyacinth
Beans, as the white is, probably, recessive, and would become uncommon
in future generations.
