Need Advice on Shipping Windmill Palm Tree

We are moving to Houston and would like to bring with us a few small trees that we grow on our deck in CT and bring indoors for winter, (In Houston, they can stay outdoors all year). We have a Windmill Fan Palm, Red Bottlebrush Tree, and Lemon Tree. All three are about 60 inches tall, in their pots.
Do you have any advice on shipping plants of this size? Do we mail? Do we transport them via plane in checked baggage? Many thanks for any advice.
