Thank you. My plumeria is in ground . It gets afternoon sun maybe 5/6 hrs a day. I live in central Florida

Did you have any frost damage this last winter?

No frost damage thanks maybe it's just getting old and suffering from benign neglect.

How often do you water and fertilize? Do you have any pics?

We have a sprinkler system. And afternoon showers it's been awhile since we fertilitze . Maybe 3/4 months . Would Epsom salts help.? Thanks

I recently picked up my first Plumeria, so I'm no expert. From everything I've read and been told at the nursery, too much water or fertilizer can be a bad thing. And plants like lots of sun, such as 6+ hours a day. They said to fertilize around every 8 weeks, and recommended Vigoro Bold Blooms. All these sources also say that over watering and over fertilizing is the most likely way to harm your plants - that generally they are pretty low maintenance in this way.

So, sounds like you haven't fertilized it in 16 weeks, so trying some fertilizer could be an option.

But one question, if you fertilized 3/4 months ago, what with? Was this something for your tree or for the grass?

Thanks a lot . It was a general fertilizer. Tho not for grass . As for the water situation we can't do much about the quantity. We are in a subtropical zone and get a lot of afternoon showers thanks for the info there are quite a few plumeria where we are and all seem to be blooming. Mine is in bloom but few and far between. It is quite old though I will fertilize it again good luck with yours

Also, if it's old and never been pruned, then maybe it's time to play with some cuttings?

Thank you Greg for all your advice. Over the years we have taken many cuttings off this tree which ,incidentally , started out as a ft long "stick"
