Thanks, it's about 2~3 ft tall (under 1m). 1 trunk, 7 fruit.

It will be just fine with seven fruits.
Make sure the soil is neutral,not acidic,if acidic add limestone powder or granulated,in order to neutralize soil,to PH 7.
Then the fig tree will love you and produce the sweetest fruit known to mankind.

Yes add any time ,and the quantity does not matter much.
But be careful ,do not use hydrated lime,as the one used in construction.
It has to be limestone for gardening purposes only.

Ok, I'll put lots. I was worried about shock, but sounds no problem.

No Problem if you use gardening limestone only,be it powder or granulated.
