We bought a Esse 990CH, put in a pull set of summer bricks to bring the heat output down to 3.6. The stove continually fills up full of creosote every couple of days, smokes real bad, the oven doesn't heat, the dogbone doesn't heat up to boil the kettle, it pours watery creosote all over the floor (God knows where it comes from). The stove cost $13,000. WE WOULD ADVISE EVERYONE TO AVOID ESSE'S LIKE THE PLAGUE. YOU WILL DO YOUR DOUGH!
