onion harvest

The storms the other day knocked down all my copra onions; so I will be gathering them in to cure very soon now. Some of the bulbs are very nice sized, but some are rather small. All were from commercial plants this spring. Potato onions stood up to the storm just fine and will go for a while yet. Tulip bulbs were dug a while back and are cured and ready to sort to size and bag; so there will be space in the racks for these onions. I have taken to holding the smaller bulbs out to replant the following spring to grow on and I have had no problem with bolting by doing that with this variety.
