I would definitely bring that color over into the kitchen it'll just look like one big space and simply make more sense.

One color is the way to go, it will make the space feel cohesive. Don't worry about adjusting the shade of gray, it won't make a noticeable difference because of the different qualities of light coming through the windows in each space. Plus it is already a great shade that you chose! Good job.

Our team loves the gray color in the living and dining areas. Bringing the color into the kitchen will help lighten the area, create a different mood and bring out the rich color in your cabinets! Do you have hardware on the cabinet doors? We suggest adding nickel finished hardware to bring out the gray color and match with your appliances. Are they already a nickel finish? Even more reason to continue the gray color!

Another suggestion would be a light green, or even gray blue color. But since there is little wall space in your kitchen area, continuing the gray color and then pulling some more white accents will freshen up the space - just like the white drapes and crown molding.
