How are your peppers looking?

Well another day of rain here in dandridge , and of course flood watch again. My garden doesn't look to good the tomatoes look ok along with beans and okra but my pepper plants are suffering bad, I have bell pepper , jalapeño, banana , ghost, reaper, scorpion Trinidad and Serrano , the only ones that are doing ok are my Serranos, so I'm wondering how's other people's peppers are doing around here

Glad to here that my peppers seem to be rebounding but my tomatoes got hit by blight pretty bad, just pulled a bunch of leave and cut a bunch of branches. Going to spray tonight , I'm hoping to at least get the tomatoes that are on the vine

My peppers are doing pretty good but like my tomatoes the bottom sets of leaves are turning yellow and falling off.

My pepper plants are very healthy, and the tallest I've ever grown - over 4' tall. There may have been too much nitrogen in the bed. I'm getting a lot of blossom drop from the early heat we had, and now the thermometers are climbing again. I do have a decent number of fruits, but I've had better years from smaller plants. But I'm not yet counting the chickens, still too early.

I have a Cubanelle (Biscayne) and a Long Cayenne (Joe's Long Cayenne). When I say long... wow... a good number of these things are at least a foot long!

Karl I am having to do the same thing with my tomatoes. And my blossoms fell of early a while back but other then then the leaves turning yell ow they are doing good.

R green 48 that is amazing about some of your peers being that long that is awesome. My peppers are definitely not producing as much as previous years. And you are right about the heat climbing back up again. My tropical plants are loving though. My lemon and hibiscus have grown a foot this year already

Those peppers sound great, my Serrano peppers are doing the best, jalapeños don't look to great but I have some ghost pepper pods starting to turn orange so I'm happy bout that

Sad Story...WOW, worst season for peppers in 10 years! Wet Spring and the 100 temps. Only pepper producing is a lone Serrano. All my plants (garden and container) are spindly at best, some not even 4 inches tall that were planted in late April. All but 2 of my overwintered beautiful pepper plants died when planted in the garden. Tomatoes tall and spindly also but at least they are producing a small crop that is slow ripening.

Well, it's only mid-July so perhaps not all is lost. Hope you all are having a better season than I am at this point. Good news, just picked 2 Serrano peppers from the lone plant that seems to be the best of the garden and the San Marzano tomatoes are about 6' tall and producing large fruit like crazy.

I've been fighting blight and other fungus diseases, Gona spray tonight,It seems when we do get rain it s way to much in a short time, I can't remember the last time I watered. I think it's been a bad year so far for a lot of us
