I don't know whether this list has been posted of not here. The Highland was a major urban renewal project in Manhattan in order to convert an above ground railroad into an urban park of botanical interest. As such, these plants must survive in a windy, and potentially hot urban environment. I have not visited the gardens yet but plan on visiting soon. They are open year-round.
