Hi Houzz,

We're moving in to a new home in September, and we are having some trouble with a sofa/furniture layout for our living room.

It's a really beautiful space with a lot of natural light, but we're having trouble because of the shape of the room. The home is a midcentury architecture style home with hardwood floors and wood panel ceilings. We like furniture that's either modern or MCM style.

We do need to accommodate a TV in the living room. In my model it's on the left side of the room but I'm open to different positions. Other functions for the living room: entertaining, play area for kids, possibly a reading area.
