Need lighting advice for indoor tree with no daylight.

Have a dark corner (meaning, no daylight) in the living room with can lights. Want to grow a tall tree like plant such as fiddle leaf, ficus, etc. Is it possible? Can I put a grow bulb in the can light and that be sufficient? Or do you put a grow light shining upwards from the floor?
